but every time you feel the urge to defile somehow you surrender, your conscience no longer tender
because you lost the fight first in your head, it led to the bed of sin and left a wound on your soul you can't console
I wish it were easier...truth is...it's simple when you target the right enemy
but you've unconsciously made him one of Aesop's fables, you don't believe he's able to lure you from the truth. You've been duped.
And your soul took the bait....now wait...no diss, but you can't dismiss the fact that something's wrong... I mean think about how long you've fought only to lose again and again.
You never thought about the effects that sin would have on your soul because even when you knew to walk away, something in your members convinced you to stay.
And when you got up, the guilt was too much to handle
But remember that last episode of Scandal you watched? You saw things you shouldn't have seen and the imprint on your mind took root in your heart
well, THIS...was the start...of it all.
Oh be careful little eyes what you see
You can't possibly believe there's not a strategy to all of this when the enemy's only goal is to steal, kill and destroy and he employs the media as a ploy to his plan of defeat.
I mean, You reaped what was sown before you even realized what had been planted. You can't stand it cuz it was a mistake!
But you forgot to lock the gate! You forgot what was at stake! You didn't make it common sense because you weren't fully convinced that it was that important in the first place. But this war that's been waged on your soul is real. And still, there's no time to sit sulking about what took place. There's no time to waste. What you've done can't be erased...but those thoughts can be replaced...
And your soul can be restored, there's more to this than you can humanly see

Well, this is absolute truth that'll prevent continuous soul decay
And the same is true of the opposite right? What you put in can equip you to fight
With the right appetite and proper nutrition, your soul condition can become a reflection of Him
He's not ignorant of our temptations, but He knows their intention is destruction, so don't pacify the subtle seduction of this culture because the price is way too expensive to pay
You can't afford to blink at the seeds that are planted every single day, in your mind
So if the eyes are a window to the soul, then close the blinds

Clearly we've been fighting a fixed battle with our heads in the sand

How do you expect to maintain any kind of resolve when all you crave is garbage dressed in disguise? The whole time, the enemy is sucking you dry, your life is literally being plucked out of you by the poison inside. Choking out your conscience and strangling your purpose

1. First, you must identify the wound. Now, trust me you'll need some help with this, so humble yourself and allow the Holy Spirit to assist. He's here to help, not blame or condemn so whatever he reveals, know He ain't taking shots or operating off of some whim!
2. Ask for forgiveness, and repent! God is faithful to forgive you and can redeem the time ill spent.
3. Apply the blood of Jesus in your soul and let it wash away all the decay, rot and mold. Whew! I'm getting excited here 'cuz you're starting to sparkle like pure gold!
4. Apply the Dunamis power, which is the resurrection power of Christ, this is the same mighty power that raised Jesus from the dead so it certainly has the power to give you an excellent soul and clear out all the garbage you allowed in your head!
5. Apply the glorious light of Christ so that the darkness can't stay. The devil only lurks around when the lights are off so keep them bad boys on and stop worrying about how much you gon' have to pay. Trust me, DemCo nor Entergy can help you with this kind of light anyway!
6. Focus your faith and soak on the truth of the glorious light. Don't rush the process, it takes some time so you must meditate both day and night.
Last but not least, above all, guard your heart with all diligence, you can't be passive with this and think the enemy will just flee. Put on your full armor, flood your soul with light...
